A Move to Remember

Trix Kirkpatrick
BIO
Over the last six years, I’ve helped folks move within 8 states, and the DC Metro area. I began my moving career by helping clients within the Chicago queer community through their standard moves. I’ve assisted folks in finding their next apartment or home, and offered resources to point queers, artists, or clients from under-represented communities in the right direction. I’ve worked with clients on atypical moves: those involving bug issues, clients with hoarding tendencies, unfair or last-minute evictions, and roommate disagreements.
My passion for helping people move continued throughout my travels with a large-scale entertainment company in 2017-2020. Through my professional experience working as a Buyer’s assistant, I’ve gained skills in logistics, rental coordination, route coordination, & delivery. Since 2020, I’ve put my focus on starting and managing A Move to Remember.
I’m DC-born, Saint Louis raised, & Chicago educated. I’m a CODA (child of Deaf adults), am fluent in American Sign Language, & identify as non-binary. During my touring days, I’ve gotten to know several major cities, and have found my wide network to be a major asset in assisting clients on a personal level.
