Moves For Non-Profits

We partner with non-profits who offer financial support to participants in transition.  The non-profit pays a reduced rate for moving services on behalf of their participants.

If you are a non-profit organization and it’s your first time working with us, please email us at and we will send you an introductory email and packet regarding our services. If you have a participant or client in immediate need, request a quote using the orange “Get a Quote!” button and include your name, your client’s name, and your organization.

Furniture Deliveries

How We SUpport

Reduced Rates For Moves

The reduced rate difference of all services provided to housing programs is technically offered as an in-kind donation. Any rate differences from A Move to Remember’s standard tariffs and the rates offered to housing programs may be documented by A Move to Remember, and its financial team (bookkeeper, accountant, etc). Housing Programs will be notified with ample time ahead of the tax filing date of the total amount of reduced costs offered to recipients.

We’re available for meetings to ensure that we’re providing the best services for your organization. That includes any organization updates (from your company or ours), training new case managers to work with our company, and discussing opportunities to assist participants in preparing for their move.

A Move To Remember trains its employees to treat clients with confidentiality. Any situation, location, name, or details pertaining to any emergency services are not shared outside of A Move To Remember and case managers from the non-profit the participant is working with.

A representative or case worker from a non-profit may communicate with AMTR on behalf of a participant, or the participate may communicate with us directly. Clients who would prefer to directly engage with AMTR but are referred through a program will qualify for the cost of service provided to that program. Please indicate your association with a program by choosing the “Via Housing Program/Non-Profit” in the “How Did You Hear About Us” section of our quote request form.

If a client decides to communicate directly with AMTR instead of through a case manager, there may be situations in which AMTR will rely on the program for support in emergency situations. We do require clarity before completing the move about who will be financially responsible for the move once completed.
